Thompson's interest in real estate originated with his business selling building materials to retail stores, as well as his own experience selling his home. Because of his familiarity with the construction industry, he's able to notice and point out things to a client about the quality of workmanship on a property.

"I like to explain things and show clients why we're arriving at these numbers. I probably tend to over explain," smiles Thompson. "After I've helped them, I want them to feel good about the transaction.
